One Gift That Makes Anything Possible: Meet Anthony

Anthony proves that there are no limits to the human spirit, especially when you have the support to help you reach for the stars. Two years after enlisting in the military, Anthony lost his leg in a car accident. He thought he would never play sports again—until he found new hope and resolve through wheelchair basketball. Now, he’s paying it forward as a part of CAF’s Operation Rebound program that supports injured military and first responders.

Unwrap the Power of Sports for CAF Athletes: Meet Morgan

You see what it means to unwrap possibilities when you meet Morgan. Morgan was born with a congenital limb difference that resulted in the amputation of her left foot at just two years old. With each year since, she has never stopped trying new sports including swimming, snorkeling, surfing, biking, running, hiking, rock-climbing, and snow skiing. Support from CAF provides resources needed for her to explore new sports and experience all life has to offer.

Your Gift Creates Endless Possibilities: Meet Hiro

Eight-year-old Hiroyoshi has an energetic and joyful spirit. Full of heart and determination, Hiro is ready to try anything. Born without three of his limbs, he first joined CAF at an adaptive skateboarding clinic in 2022. He has since participated in several CAF Sports Clinics including surfing, triathlon, and swimming. Hiro believes that he can do anything and hopes to one become a Paralympian. CAF will be here to support him on his journey.

Give Comfort and Joy: Meet Ryen

Ryen is an accomplished athlete with her sights set on competing at an elite level. Born with cerebral palsy and hip dysplasia, she only learned about adaptive sports about nine years ago; however, since that moment, she has competed in three World Cup Races and become the 2022 Road and Time Trial National Champion in her classification. With support from CAF, Ryen can confidently continue making her dreams come true in the years ahead.

Your generosity will fund specialized equipment, sports clinics, and community, helping athletes with physical disabilities thrive – in sport and in life.
